Submit your manuscript
Whether you are a first-time author or have previously published a book, Pure Ink Press would love to hear from you. We accept unsolicited submissions across all genres from authors worldwide. When you submit your manuscript, you will receive an evaluation with helpful feedback on your draft, along with a decision on whether your book is a fit for us. We will also provide publishing recommendations based on your needs. If your book is accepted, we will schedule a call to discuss the available options.
How it works
To determine whether your book is a fit for Pure Ink Press or one of our imprints, an acquisitions editor will read through your full draft manuscript and provide a manuscript evaluation. This process usually takes between two and four weeks.
A $250 manuscript submission fee subsidizes your acquisition editor’s time and your manuscript evaluation. If your manuscript is not a fit or you choose not to move forward, you can still use the feedback to further refine your work.
We recommend submitting a complete draft so your manuscript can be evaluated accurately. It doesn’t need to be perfect—just fully written rather than outlined. Editing happens later in the process.

When you are ready to submit, please email submissions@pureinkpress.com with the following details and attach your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document. We’ll then send you an invoice to proceed with the evaluation.

– Year of birth
– Book genre
– Book summary
– Manuscript word count
